We are member of ESIC, we are paying contribution @ 1.75% and employer contribution is 4.75%. recently I came to know that government has reduced the contribution percentage for implemented area. Our location area falls in newly implemented area.
Since we have contributed @ prescribed rate ( 1.75% & 4.75%) so far. If our company falls under new implemented area than why ESIC were taking excess money. Challan generated through ESIC portal how can we change contribution rate. Is it any idea?
