Under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) scheme in India, manpower supply contractors, or any employer for that matter, are not required to register under a specific section. However, it's crucial that they are registered with the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and have a valid LIN (Labour Identification Number) allotted to them.
Here's a step-by-step guide to the registration process:
1. Visit the PMRPY official website and log in with your EPFO credentials. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one first.
2. Once logged in, click on the 'Registration' tab.
3. Fill in the necessary details, including your LIN.
4. After providing all the required information, submit the form.
5. Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation message.
Please note that the PMRPY scheme is applicable only to new employees earning less than Rs. 15,000 per month who have joined the establishment on or after 1st April 2016 and who did not have an existing Universal Account Number (UAN) prior to 1st April 2016.
