bijender-sharma1
Hi,
I am bijender from sentinels security as per act of bonus if any employee working 30 days in the year he is applicable to getting the Bonus but I have one query, in the month of March 2017, he was joined 2nd Mar-2017 & last working days 31st Mar-2017. he was completed 30 days 26+4=30 so he is able to getting the Bonus or not.
Please suggest & Advise.

Yes, he should get proportionate bonus.
Apex Management
Please note that 30 working days are required in a financial year, not pay days. Since he has been paid for 30 days but his actual working days are only 26, he do not qualify / eligible for payment of Bonus.

Yes it is 30 working days in an accounting year. He is not eligible for bonus as per the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.

As per your posting the workmen is not entitiled for bonus. Because the workmen did not put 30 days working during his work tenure.

The query is from security agency, where guards are working for whole month, and is paid accordingly, If he has worked including weekly off, then also he is not eligible for bonus.Pls kindly clear the doubt. Why a guard be deprived of bonus if works throught out month.
Apex Management
In security agencies too, weekly offs are marked at least in records, if not physical. You can go through section 8 and there is no doubt at all.
