Creating a PF account with aadhar number which is UAN already?

I have activated my UAN with the help of Aadhaar and withdrew the amount. I have informed my current employer that there was no PF deduction in my previous company. Now, my current employer has decided to create a new PF account for me with the help of my Aadhaar. Once they enter my Aadhaar number, will it show that this Aadhaar number is already linked to a UAN?

Actually, you shouldn't ignore that you have a previous UAN because once it is activated with Aadhar, it will automatically show up as you mentioned. Now, you only need to inform your current employer that they are linked and continue your PF contributions with the same number.
