Is the Minimum Wages Act Relevant for NGOs Focused on Education? Seeking Guidance

Hope you all are doing well. I have a query regarding the Minimum Wages Act. I am working for an NGO that is registered under society. The NGO's work is to provide education to underprivileged children. Is the Minimum Wages Act applicable to it?

Not that employment in any industry or industrial establishment, as defined under any applicable Labor Law, would, as it is, attract the application of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. The employment in such an industry should have been brought into the schedule of the said Act by the appropriate Government. The reader may check the notification, if any, made in this regard by the Central or respective State Government under the MW Act, 1948 in respect of educational institutions.
