Company has signed a wage settlement under 2P, and the company is forcing employees to sign a declaration form. Employees are not happy with the wage settlement, especially the new ones, as their salary is below 18,000/-. Kindly advise on this issue.

Company is demanding a declaration, which means that you are discussing settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act. If you do not sign the declaration accepting the 18(1) settlement, the settlement will not be applicable to you. You may raise an industrial dispute before the Conciliation Officer and demand a tripartite settlement.
