PF Deduction - salary has been increased over 15k - possible to discontinue?

The PF from the employee was deducted as his salary was within the threshold limit of Rs.15000/- gross per month, now the salary has been increased and as per the threshold limit the employee is opting out from the deduction as his salary is more than the limit prescribed as per PF. Is is possible to discontinue the deduction.

He has become exempted employee under the act. However if employee and employer willing to contribute, then he can continue to be the member.

Once employee become a member for Pf, he can't discontinue. However, you can restrict his deduction for Rs.15000.
