I paid a 50000 security fee before joining the company (aviation sector) due to personal reasons. I left the company within 6 months. Now, the company is asking me to give them 40000 as full and final settlement; otherwise, they will take legal action against me. What will happen if I don't submit this amount to the company?

To take legal action, there has to be a valid commitment from your part to pay the amount in case the service is abandoned. Did you sign any contract of appointment providing for it, or was it a part of the appointment terms, or was there any other commitment to serve for a minimum period? Please check.

To ask for any such amount, did they train you? Legal action can be threatened very easily, but when it comes to the real court battle, there are many slips between the cup and the lip!!!
