Can I Still Claim My PF Amount After 3 Years? Seeking Advice on Next Steps

Padmapriya s
Dear Sir/Madam,

Help me out. I worked as a teacher in BMSS. They deducted 3 months' worth of PF from my salary when I resigned 3 years ago, and I didn't close my PF account there. Will I still be able to receive my PF amount? What steps should I take?

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes. If you know your UAN, then log in and transfer the money to your new PF account. Else, use this link to generate UAN keeping your old PF number in hand: [https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/no-auth/uanActivation/knowUan?_HDIV_STATE_=17-6-0E1D3168BF937C987AE14C042AFA8059](https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/no-auth/uanActivation/knowUan?_HDIV_STATE_=17-6-0E1D3168BF937C987AE14C042AFA8059). If you don't know your PF number, contact your employer.

Wishing you good luck.
