Handling HR activities without an HR certificate - Which course should I do?

I completed MBA in finance but I am working as HR Executive in pvt organisation . recently i was attend a interview they asked HR qualification. but I don't have any HR certificates. in future same problem will be repeated how can I handle that and please suggest me any HR certification courses.
