Facing EPF Claim Rejection Due to Age: How Can I Claim My Father's Pension Amount?

My father is joining after 58 years in the company. The company wrongly paid PF contribution to the pension account 10. The EPF rejection details state, "It is also informed that your FPF Claim Application in Form-10C has been rejected/returned due to the following reasons: Member joined the establishment after completion of 58 years of age, hence not eligible for withdrawal benefit."

How can I claim the EPF pension amount? Please help me.

Please contact the employer who mistakenly covered your father under EPS. The employer has to provide a letter and request to transfer the amount lying in EPS to the EPF account. Based on the letter by the employer, the PF office will transfer the amount to the EPF account. Your father has to resubmit the PF withdrawal claim to receive this money. Please approach the employer immediately with the rejection letter.
