Up to any age, as long as a wage is being paid, the recovery of PF is not restricted. However, once retired and the PF amount is withdrawn, and receiving family pension, it is exempted from further coverage. If the employer and employee are willing to contribute again, even then PF contributions can be paid up to 15 thousand, limiting it to a new account number, as the PF amount has been settled.
