Need your kind help to implement the leave policy. Could you please let me know how many days of leave should be provided in a year as per the Factories Act of Karnataka or the Shop and Establishment Act?
As per the Shop & Establishment Act, it is mandated to provide 1 Earned Leave (EL) for every 20 working days and 1 Casual Leave (CL) or Sick Leave (SL) per month. Under the Factories Act, 1 Earned Leave is provided for every 20 working days. The leave calculation period spans from January to December.
