I am not sure if I made a mistake while providing information to the new company for BGC.
In the past, I joined company A (MNC) and left after 1 month to join a new company B. After 1.5 years, I rejoined A (rehire), and coincidentally, I got the same user ID in company A that was issued 1.5 years ago. I then worked at company A for 3.5 years before leaving. The service certificate issued by A mentioned the start date from the first hiring (so the total duration is around 5 years).
I am now being hired by a new company. For the BGC check, I provided my employment history as per the service certificate of A and omitted B completely. Due to several job changes (7 in 11 years), I thought it would be beneficial to present a longer tenure of 5 years at a single company to improve my history.
I am wondering if the BGC check will yield the same results as shown in the service letter. Am I doing the right thing by following the service certificate, or should I go against it and tell the truth myself?
