Trainees are normally being paid salary as stipend and no statutory dues are applicable for them such as PF and ESIC. Thus, can you please explain which type of trainees are they to enable us to reply to your query.

Even trainees also we have to pay PF and ESIC if they are not registered under any government notified schemes.
in our case, the trainees are freshers and taken for a year and there is no guarantee of employment and terminable at any time.
