What are the documents other than salary slips and Form 16 that CTS accepts as proof of salary for background verification? Is an offer of employment from the previous employer sufficient as proof of salary, and is a relieving letter enough as proof of my employment?

I don't have salary slips and Form 16 from my previous employer. So, are an offer of employment and a relieving letter from my previous employer sufficient to prove my employment to CTS for background verification?

For background verification, you can submit the bank statement where your salary is credited along with the offer letter and appointment letter. Please request your HR to provide a salary slip if possible.

I also have a query to clarify. I have received the offer letter from CTS, and the background verification is currently in progress. I have 17 months and 11 days of experience, so I rounded it off to 18 months and stated that I have 18 months of experience. Will this affect my background verification? Do the 20 days less matter?
