PF interest not credited in passbook on 31 march 2018

My EPFO regional office is in BAngalore. But i could not see interest in passbook for 2017-18

The interest was credited on August 29 in Chandigarh Regional Office.

Govt official in south are more corrupt than North India.

PF Interest not credited till 7 September 2018. Will I ever get this?

I had applied PF advance on 9th Aug, On 7th Sep, EPF account was showing Claim settled.Today i got Advance credited to my bank account. But EFP passbook still not showing the interest for 2017-18.

First time in history, There will be no interest will be paid for 2017-2018. that is the decision taken today. I hope that they should reconsider the decision.

I just checked, interest for last year has been updated on the passbook now. Hope the same is done for all of you too.
I'm really angry with the idiot who posted the comment on Sept 16 saying that there's a decision not to credit interest for 2017-18. Spreading misinformation should be made a criminal offence.

Do you not think it is first time that Interest is not credited when it is Sep. All members have not received the Interest. All people may get interest only by End of the year as per above Times of india link. more than 60% have not received yet. Only few lucky may have got!
