Is EPF Registration Mandatory for Small IT Firms with Low-Salary Staff?

I am working in an IT company. I joined as the 11th member, and now we are 25, including 2 partners and one office boy.

Out of the 25 employees, 9 staff members have a salary less than 15,000. Is it compulsory to get registered with the EPF scheme?

Hi Meraj,

If you have staff above 19, then PF is applicable to your industry. It is mandatory to get PF registration and cover your eligible employees.
