Employee is eligible to get Gratuity multiple times during the course of different employments.
Normally, the amount of gratuity is transferred to the next employer through the Trust, etc.
In case, employee has taken an encashment of one or more gratuity claims while switching the job how the penultimate employer and/or tax authorities get to know about the same for the purpose of the calculation of the exemptions as per the limits defined in the Act.
