Employment Bond and Resignation Concerns
Hello, I work in a reputed IT MNC. I signed an Employment Bond with my organization for 2 years, and I still have 1 year left to serve. However, I have received a better opportunity and would like to move on. Unlike most other questions found on the internet related to bonds and resignation, I have no issue paying the bond amount to my employer/organization.
I would like to resign and seize the better opportunity. However, I am unsure if my employer can still reject my resignation or in any other way hold my release letter and not allow me to leave. Please remember, I have no issues paying the bond amount to my employer. If they can, what can I do legally (or in any other way that works) to leave the current organization with a release letter?
