Gratuity Nomination Dilemma: Can We Honor Children's Wish to Transfer Funds to Their Mother?

head@hr
One of our employees died in service. As per his gratuity nomination, he has designated his wife and three children as nominees for 25% each. Now, all three children have provided affidavits stating their intention to transfer the gratuity amount to their mother. All three children are above 18 years of age. Can we proceed with this arrangement? Please advise.

The affidavit is before a Notary Public. Yes, you can release the Gratuity payment. As an abundance of caution, you may take the three children in the voucher as confirming party if possible.
