Can Aadhaar Card number be displayed/printed on the ID card ? Chapter VI clearly states "protection of information"
Please advise...

It is not advisable to make Adhar Card a public document looking to the possible misuse of such information. At any rate the final word on whether it can be made compulsory is being heard in the Supreme Court.

KKHR,
Aadhar card number is to be given as per Maharastra Act.
Ruling will not debar use of Aadhar.
Aadhar is there to stay and in my reading, all the learned arguments will still be countered effectively by Govt.
