Understanding HR Letters: Who Signs Them and What to Expect When Joining?

Arun kumar.M
Can anyone help me understand what type of letters will be issued by the HR from the joining of an employee and who is the authorized person to sign the letter.

Hi Arun,

There is no definition of authorization for each document. If your management is ready to give you authorization to sign the document, then you can sign appointment letters, offer letters, PF digital signatures, etc. When a new employee joins the company, you need to issue them an appointment letter and provide company policies such as the leave policy and attendance policy.

Feel free to call or reply for any assistance.

You need definite rules in this matter, so prepare a policy document on 'Delegation of Powers', take approval and issue it wherein all these contingencies are answered comprehensively.

The manager and occupier in the event of appointment & termination in a factory. The manager, agent, and owner in the event of appointment & termination in mines. In other cases, persons authorized by the board or any constituting body delegated power to perform.

In the absence, as suggested by Mr. KK, you need to adopt a policy document on 'Delegation of Powers'.
