Gamification - how it will applicable to employee engagement?

I am doing project on gamification. Can you please tell me the brief details about gamification and how it will applicable to employee engagement and training and development.what will be the impact?

I done research on what actually gamification and its advantages as well as disadvantages. And how it will impact on organization. I want to know how to apply game elements or game mechanisms into organization. and if you have any kind of information about this topic please send me.
