Enhancement of payment of maximum amount of gratuity from Rs 10 Lacs to Rs. 20 Lacs

Please enlighten us as to the enhancement of payment of maximum amount of gratuity from Rs 10 Lacs to Rs. 20 Lacs as per the latest amendment and the scheduled date from which it is to be effective for all practical purposes. It would be helpful if the appropriate statutory amendment as to the latest enhancement proposal is being mentioned for our reference.

Dear Pardeep,
Wait till the bill is finally pass in Rajya Sabha before 06th of April 2018.
Then it would be clear the effective date of amendment.
