Minimum Wage Hike in Karnataka: How Are Service Providers Coping with the Changes?

Please refer to the Minimum Wages notification issued by the state government. All wage revisions will have a Gazette notification number, which is missing here. The effective date of implementation is also not clear. Since the increase is more than 53%, it will attract indirect liability in ESI & EPF.

In this situation, a win-win scenario is not present for the service providers. Your valuable suggestions are appreciated.

Gazette notification has not yet been released. Therefore, once the gazette notification becomes public, you can pay the arrears from the effective date.

Which scheduled employment Minimum Wage (MW) are you referring to: Engineering, Automobile, Residuary Factory, Shops & Establishments, or any other?
