EPS Calculation: 8.33% of Entire Basic Salary

I am private sector employee contributing to EPF and EPS since 2007. As per supreme court judgement in 2017 year, now its possible for employees to ask employer to contribute 8.33% of entire basic salary to EPS instead of 8.33% of 15000 Rs (1250 Rs). I checked with my employer and they are not aware of this. They are asking for relevant material on this. Can someone help me how can I approach this? Are there any judgement documents available which says my employer can send letter to RPF to increase my EPS contribution to 8.33% of entire basic salary?

employer will maintain the 15000 ceiling or not is upto the employer's policy, under most of cases EPF salary is sealed upto 15000 only.
However under discussion with employer if all the employees represent their willingness to contribute on whole basic salary or on Gross salary even, then employer has to think about the contribution payment capability as it is money related issue, and EPF mandatory rules are already maintained, so for employee welfare and promotion they can consider, but one can not enforce them to do so
EPS contribution over 15000 is a cumbersome process and it is not possible to do it for a single person or some of the members, but if whole establishment wish to do it, it can be done, provided the admin charges and EDLI charges above 15000 is recovered from the employee
