EPF withdraw/ Transfer - what needs to be done for previous organisation pension?

Dhanya Gowda
I have a confusion regarding EPF - Pension.
If a employee have worked for 10+ yrs in A organisation and he is a pension holder now. He have withdrawn his PF amount and EPF is moved to pension scheme.
Now he is started working in B company and new PF account is opened.
My question is
What needs to be done for A org Pension??
Can he transfer his pension amount to new PF account?
Can he eligible for 2 pensions??
Kindly suggest.

In order to get the pension service added to the present service or to consider the past service at the time he claims pension, he has to apply for a scheme certificate. A scheme certificate is a certificate issued by the EPF Organisation which certifies your membership with Pension Fund. This certificate will also contain the name of spouse and children who are eligible to get pension in case the employee dies before attaining the age of retirement. On joining a new establishment which is covered by EPF,you can surrender this certificate through the employer. With this, your past service will be added to the present service. Alternatively, you can keep the scheme certificate with you and submit it to EPFO along with your pension claim application.
