Starting a Tiffin Service in Pune: Are PF and ESI Deductions Necessary for My Small Team?

I am going to start a professional kitchen to provide tiffin service and takeaways in Pune. For that, I am hiring 2 cooks and maybe 1 or 2 helpers. The salary of the cooks will be between 10k to 15k, and for helpers will be 3k to 5k. Please let me know if PF and ESI deductions are applicable.

If employees are fewer than 20, PF is not applicable, but you can opt for voluntary PF code if required. If employees are fewer than 10, ESIC is not applicable. If you provide service in any company, the company may ask you about these registrations.
