Understanding EPF Withdrawal: Does My Time at TCS Count Towards My Service History?

Hi Sir,

In the initial 3 years of my career, I worked for TCS, which has its own provident fund and is a tax-exempt organization. Then, I switched to another organization which directly links to EPF. It's been 3 years since I started working with this organization.

Now, I want to withdraw my EPF contribution for purchasing a house. I want to know if my service history will include my tenure with TCS. If it does not include the same, I'll have to pay a 10% TDS on the withdrawn amount.

Please help.

Just to add to the question that TCS maintains its own PF trust, and I have gotten the PF amount transferred to the current employer.
