Mistaken ECR Challan Payment: How Can We Correct the Month on Our Records?

We have generated AUG & SEP 2017 ECR Challan and paid accordingly. After paying, we observed that our clerk made a mistake by mentioning JUL 2017 payment for AUG & SEP 2017. We now want to update it. Kindly confirm the ways to change the paid ECR Challans.

If it is related to ESI, then you need to visit the regional office to cancel it. For PF, you can make changes at your end only.
