Do We Need a Revenue Stamp on Wages Register for Bank Transfers in Maharashtra and Gujarat?

Please clarify whether a Re.1 Revenue Stamp has to be affixed on the wages register when the salary is paid to employees by bank account transfer or cheque.

Please guide me in this matter.

My organization falls under the Factories Act and Contract Labour Act.

The state of operations is Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The revenue stamp is affixed for the payment of cash on the wages register. Only one needs to attach the bank transaction copy reflecting the payment to the employees that has been made.
