How Does the New Profession Tax Exemption in Chhattisgarh Affect Your Team?

Subject: Changes in Profession Tax - Chhattisgarh

According to Notification F 10-28/2007/CT/V(8), dated 2nd April 2007, towns in Chhattisgarh state (Raipur, Bhilai, etc.) are exempted from Profession Tax up to an annual income of Rs 3,50,000. It is assumed that those earning higher than this amount will continue to pay an annual PT of Rs 2500.
