Pension Transfer Issue

I am working in the private sector. My old PF has been transferred to the new PF account, but the pension amount is not transferring. I have served less than 2 years with my previous employer. The PF amount (12%) and employer PF amount (3.67%) have been transferred, but the pension (8.37%) has not been transferred. I have also submitted Form No.13 physically to EPFO with supporting documents, but it has not been transferred. What should I do to transfer my old pension to the new account?

Friend's Pension Transfer Issue

Additionally, a friend of mine has been employed for over 10 years in his previous job. He received his PF amount and a pension certificate from EPFO at that time. He wants to transfer his old pension to his new PF account but is facing the same issue. Please guide us on how to proceed.

Mr. Rahul,

Your question is very easy. There is no provision for EPS in EPO. So don't worry. Automatically, your service history transfer has been moved from Old to New.

For your friend - now he will hold his pension certificate and at the age of 58 years, submit the certificate through his present/previous employer via Form 10D.

Pension Transfer and Scheme Certificate

The pension amount cannot be transferred to the present EPS account number. However, an employee can apply for a scheme certificate of previous services of EPS from the EPFO department.

Yes, we can transfer your EPF fund to a new EPF account. First, activate your UAN number, then log in to your UAN. Proceed to the online services section and select the option for transferring funds to another account.
