Navigating EPF Withdrawal: Can I Claim from Two Companies Without a Transfer?

I worked at company A for 9 years. After that, I moved to company B where I worked for 2 years. Due to some reason, the EPF from company A could not be transferred to company B. I'm currently unemployed for the past year and need to withdraw my EPF from both companies A & B.

My question is, can I apply for withdrawal from both companies separately, or is it mandatory to initiate a transfer from A to B before initiating a claim?

You can apply for PF at one time using separate forms or you can transfer from Company A to Company B and withdraw at that time.
