Stuck Without Payslips or Experience Letter: How Can I Resolve This with My Former Employer?

Sasikumar Kumarasamy
Worked for 5 months with an organization. They are not willing to release paperwork from their end because they are saying their company policy does not permit the release of papers. I haven't received any payslip either. If this is the case, how can I retrieve it from them, or if I get a job in another organization, should I convey the same to them? Will they address my concern? I look forward to hearing from you. Is there any other solution for this?

Securing Employment Documents

Do you have any appointment or offer letter with you that can prove you were offered a position by them? It's important to avoid verbal communication. If you have worked with them, it is your right to receive a salary slip, offer letter, and relieving letter. Start sending them an email stating that you worked from [start date] to [end date] and your salary was [amount]. Request your relieving documents, and mention that you have already requested these documents several times. Kindly ask them to issue them as soon as possible. If they don't respond, consider taking legal action or lodging a complaint. First, secure yourself by collecting solid proof of your employment.

Thank you for the valuable information. During the employment period, I enrolled for PF, received the offer letter, served the notice period, but there is pending salary from their end. What should be the next course of action?

Yes, I have served my notice period as mentioned in the offer letter. However, the salary and documents have not been released from their end.
