What if festive holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday which are off in our company?

We have 12 festive holidays in our company. If festive holidays fall on Saturday or Sunday then does employer require to settle it off by giving them holiday on following Monday? What if festive holiday falls on 1st and 3rd Saturday which are off in our company?

It is not mandatory for the employer but as a welfare measure employer may do this.
