Pension fund wasn't transferred from previous account to the new account

Dear sir,

I joined a Delhi-based corporate office on 12.01.2015 and left on 03.08.2015 (6.5 months). Subsequently, I joined another company after three months of leaving, on 27.11.2015, and my last working day was 23.10.2017 (23 months). I had submitted a request on the EPFO site to transfer my PF account to my new account. However, only the PF amount was transferred, and the pension amount was not.

I reached out to my previous company's HR team, and they informed me that the pension amount wouldn't be transferred as I hadn't completed eight months with the company. Sir, I would like to inquire if it is possible to withdraw that amount or have it transferred to my current account.

As per your statement:

Your 1st date of joining (DOJ) is 12.01.2015 and date of exit (DOE) is 03.08.2015. Additionally, your 2nd company's date of joining is 27.11.2015 until the present.

You have transferred the PF amount from your old company to the new one.

In response:

1) Three months of non-contribution will be deducted from your total service period, meaning 03 months will be excluded.

2) It is important to note that there is no provision in the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) to transfer the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) amount from one PF account to another.

3) The significance of 08 months is unclear.
