Facing Job Termination and Denied Maternity Benefits: How Can I Fight Back?

AnithaAnbarasi
Good noon to all,

I worked in an organization for 4 months and took maternity leave for 5 months. As I am outsourced by my company, they rejected my maternity benefits and denied my rejoining. I approached my consultancy and company for a joining letter, experience letter, and termination letter stating maternity leave. However, neither of them has responded. What should I do now? I need to register a complaint with the labor court. I still don't have a joining letter, and I didn't sign any contract. Kindly help me with this issue.

1. Do you have an appointment letter?
2. Do you have pay slips?
3. Do you have any ID proof from the agency with whom you were working or by whom you were employed?

To register a case, you must submit proof that you were an employee. If the above documents are not in your possession, it may be difficult to prove your case and justify your claim for MB. However, you can seek assistance from the Labor Officer in that area to understand what support they may provide in this matter.
