Calculation of gratuity:

The formula for calculating gratuity is as follows: BASIC SALARY + D.A * 15/26 * NO OF YEAR SERVICE (6 months considered as a full year).

Now, if your basic salary is $8000 and your service duration is 13 years, 2 months, and 20 days, we will round it down to only 13 years for gratuity payment calculation purposes. Therefore, we will skip the additional 2 months and 20 days.

8000 * 15/26 = $4615.38 * 13 = $60,000 will be payable by the employer.
