Confused About Minimum Wages for Painters in Maharashtra? Let's Figure It Out Together

Could anyone guide me about what would be the minimum wages, i.e., Basic wages + DA, for Painters (people doing painting work for buildings) in MAHARASHTRA? I tried to search in the latest minimum wages list but couldn't find under what category painters would fall. Does it come under the Factories under Fy. Act (Residuary)?

Better refer to the minimum wages notification by the state government, if any, for employment in building and other construction works.

Shri Umakanthan has rightly categorized BOCW Schedule Industry for painters. However, you can also look into the Automobile Industry or Shipbuilding if painters are deployed in these industries.

Yeah, the painters have taken a contract for painting buildings. So, I guess it will come under the construction of roads and building category of the minimum wages list in Maharashtra.
