Navigating PF Contributions: What to Do When an Employee's Salary Exceeds the Limit?

mittal.jain01@gmail.com
Hello All,

If any employee was under the PF scheme previously before joining a new company, and his Basic+DA is less than 15,000 Rs., and now he has joined a new company where his Basic+DA is more than 15,000 Rs., what should be done? Should we fill up Form 11 or any other form should be filled? If the employee is earning more than 15,000 Rs., is it advisable not to deduct his PF? Please guide.

Employee who is getting more than 15000 INR, should we ask them to fill out Form 11?

Dear,

As per my knowledge, you cannot discontinue the membership of an employee when his salary exceeds the wage cap. If the employee's salary increases by more than Rs 15,000 per month, the employer will be obligated to continue him as a member of the fund, at least up to Rs 15,000 per month.

With Regards,

Sir,

In the PF PMPRY Scheme, some UANs are showing as deactivated. What steps should we take to activate them?
