Dear Ranjeetha, please find the response to your query below:

1) Why is the Pension amount not displayed in the EPFO statement?

If you review the attached statement carefully, you will see that the Pension amount is clearly mentioned. The only amount not specified is the Pension amount as it is being reserved for your pension.

2) How can I know the Pension amount balance?

The balance can be found at the end of the same statement.

3) How do I claim the Pension Amount?

The pension is only applicable after reaching the age of 58 years, which will begin upon retirement from your service.

4) Is any interest paid for the Pension Balance?

No, as the amount is set aside for your pension and the process will begin. The total amount will be paid if you withdraw before completing 10 years of service.

5) What is a Scheme Certificate and how do I obtain one?

The Scheme Certificate can be used for either a one-time withdrawal benefit or a monthly pension, depending on the contributory period. If you have a service period of 9 years and six months or more, you will be eligible for a pension. Otherwise, you will receive a withdrawal benefit only. The Scheme certificate will neither deny the withdrawal benefit nor enable the pension.

Thank you.
