Respected Seniors,
I am pursuing the final year of my MBA at a very good B-School. Very recently, I sat for my placements. I successfully completed all the processes like writing skills and group discussions, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in the final round, the Personal Interview.
The various questions asked of me were:
- Why did you choose HR?
- HR is a thankless job, why do you want to pursue a career in it?
- Even staff-level managers can handle HR tasks, so why do we need a separate department for it?
- With a background in B.E - E.E.E, why did you choose to pursue an MBA?
The answers I provided were not satisfactory to the interviewer. Respected seniors, could you please provide me with some ideas on how to give more satisfactory answers?
Regards,
R. Palanivel Kumar
