Facing Rejection on PF Transfer Due to Overlapping Job Dates – How Can I Resolve This?

My previous company leaving date is 4th October 2008, and my present company joining date is 10 days earlier, i.e., 24th September 2008. Due to this date difference, every time I submit a PF transfer form, it's getting rejected. How can I solve this issue? I have withdrawn all the PF money except the pension amount. How can I transfer this amount without facing rejection due to the date difference? I have the pension certificate issued by the PF office.

You have to submit/surrender the "Scheme Certificate" you already have under covering letter to your present employer's jurisdictional PF office and obtain acknowledgement. Please review your Scheme Certificate where it is mentioned that you have to surrender your certificate when taking up a new job with PF/EPS coverage.
