Setting Up a PF Code for a New Plant: Can We Use the Old One or Need a New Registration?

Dear All,

I kindly request you to provide me with the process and documents required for creating the PF code in a new location. Previously, we had two manufacturing plants, and now we have started a new plant in another location. Can we consolidate contributions under the previous PF code, or do we need new registration for the new plant?

Hi Kashinath,

Since December 2015, all processes for registering with the EPF department have been online. You can proceed with the registration by accessing the online EPF employer portal.
