Curious About Unused Earned Leave Payment: When and How Will I Get Paid?

Dear Sir,

I'm an employee at a private company. I have completed my first year here, and I have not used my earned leaves this year. When will I receive payment for my ELs, and will it be in cash, account transfer, or by cheque? Please explain the procedure and the rules to me.

If I'm not mistaken, you are from Delhi, and according to the policy, the accumulation limit for Delhi is 45 days. Therefore, you need not worry about your leave lapsing. If you wish to encash your leave, you can do so as outlined in your company's policy.
