Dear Sir/Mam, Can anybody explain to me about Workmen compensation policy insurance. One of our contract employee covered under ESIC but he should cover under Workmen compensation policy insurance or else ESIC ok with this.
If an employee is covered under ESIC, the liability of employment injury is covered. As such there is no need to cover them again under Employee compensation policy.
Once an employee is covered under ESI, the Employees' Compensation Act is not applicable.
