HR is Human Resource and any performing organistion requires Human Resource. HR Department's responsibility is to recruit quality people to meet organisational requirements. They are in charge of developing, nurturing, training, motivating human resources to increase productivity. Every human requires job for survival and every organisation requires human resources for their business. As regards Organisational behaviour, According to internet - OB is : Organizational behavior (OB) is the study of the way people interact within groups. Normally this study is applied in an attempt to create more efficient business organizations. The central idea of the study of organizational behavior is that a scientific approach can be applied to the management of workers. Now, there is no need for any confusion. Again, HR audit is auditing the entire process of HR. In October, I was in Doha, Qatar for auditing a leading Logistics firm. We found that there were no connections ie no Job Descriptions, No manpower budget / planning, no KRAs, no KPIs, not even Org Charts, despite being headed by a HR professional. In one week, we meet Heads of departments, held discussions, found the gaps and given them a road map for the way forward. Next month, we will be visiting for one full month for looking at the transaction aspect of Human Resources, whether they are working according to their policies and procedures. When an outside party, an experienced professional looks at your organisation, in order to give you a neutral, un-biased view of what is happening in your organisation, it will help the organisation to make their foundations very strong and the company can grow stronger and grow higher and reach their financial goals. Hire me, if interested. My article on our audit is in my Linkedin profile... Best wishes
