As far as my knowledge . it is fish bone diagram .it is a technique used for problem solving. it is the same in any country.

I had read the 4 books of Fish! once again 2-3 days back and was just thinking on how to make the presentation/ trainign essions on the same and today I open my citehr and here I am!

Also, when you have time, go through the website of "Give them the pickle!"- its a great tool as well for customer service.

The Fish philosophy definitely highlight what most organizations lack today. while it is easy to see how this organization can make it happen, the challenge to most of us is - how do you transfer that philosophy to your work place and make the staff see the benefits and are willing to change given the underlying culture that the organization is experiencing right now. The secret to it is if we can overcome the cultural barrier to inplant the philosophy without the usual ristance to change mentality
